Gloria Christie, CDA, is a Certified Dental Assistant experienced in expanded functions and certified in nitrous oxide monitoring. After earning a B.A. in Art from Florida State University in 1979, Gloria decided to change directions and in 1981 received her Diploma in Dental Assisting from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC and her certification by the Dental Assisting National Board. Gloria has worked in North Carolina, Florida and South Carolina, and has been with Dr. Austinâ€™s practice since 2002. Gloria is married to Brad and they have three sons, Parker, Spencer and Luke.

Renne Thomas, CDA, is a Certified Dental Assistant who completed the Dental Assisting program at Tri-County Technical College, Anderson, SC in 1993 and received her certification by the Dental Assisting National Board. She is an expanded functions assistant and certified in nitrous oxide monitoring. Renne has been employed by Dr. Austin since 2003 and fills her free time with husband, Ned, and sons, Brett and Chandler.

Nancy Lazar, CDA, is a Certified Dental Assistant trained in expanded functions and nitrous oxide monitoring. She joined Dr. Austinâ€™s staff in 2009 and has seen many wonderful changes in dentistry in her more than thirty years as an assistant. When not at work, Nancy spends time with husband Mike, grown sons Chuck and Zac, and her grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, boating and camping.
